Faramir visualized chopping down the White Tree, turning it into an ugly, uncomfortable futon, and selling it to Orcs at a yard sale.

And now the question...

No, not "to be or not to be." The question in this case is why do I never get any bloody e-mail? (see my blog)

But nevermind that. This site will gradually come to represent the Whole Sort of General MishMash that is my life, and I am slowly transferring the content of Organized Chaos over to here. Hopefully I will finish someday while I still have my youth. But don't hold your breath. Wouldn't want to have someone's death on my head...

History became legend- legend became myth- myth became an agressive merchandising campaign-

Who I am: a semi-ambidextrous, primarily left-handed writer with a published poem, a published short story, and a wealth of unpublished material to my name. Excerpts of these can be found on my professional website. If you want to send me your impressions/reviews/constructive criticism/kicking-yelling-screaming feel free to e-mail me at foxfirelightswitch@yahoo.com .

As a writer, Fanfiction.net is my playground. Im writing several fics right now: two Van Helsing ones (this ones hilarious and this ones well-written) a Lord of the Rings one (Lost Tales of A Stewards Son) and a Breakfast Club one (That Was The Day That Was). I also did a one-off story that I posted in the Pirates of the Carribbean category, though strictly speaking it had nothing to do with the movie. Also if you've read "Lost Tales of A Steward's Son" you may be interested to know that Denhamir looks exactly like this:

Except with LOTR clothes, of course. If you check out the stories, you can read what other people have said about my writing (most good. Some indifferent). You can also check out my author profile to see lists of my favourite stories by other FFwriters. Some of my favourite stories make no sense at all, but they made me laugh, which is a worthy cause for writing.

Here is a site with some seriously funny writing on it that has mostly to do with Lord of the Rings, if you like... And this one which we lovingly title Lord of the Pants.

I tend to blather on about things a lot, often about Rik Mayall, Monty Python, the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, or David Wenham. I also talk/write/think about people that no-one has any idea exist: find out who Rex Smith is here. And who the ever-havers-rockin' Jason Marsden is here. And the best Rik Mayall site. If you think Im at all amusing, if I made you laugh even a little, please let me know. Even if I didnt, let me know. Im seriously starved for attention.

And theres so many trif sites on the Net, and I so love linking, that all of the underlined words here are links to different places. Check them out if youve got a minute! A lot of them are pretty cool. And, as always, Id advise you to take the quiz (which I plan on adding to soon.)

Things I appreciate or enjoy: Not to start off too shallow, but Lost is really kicking it. Ive never had a TV show that I watch every week (well, unless you count re-runs of the X-Files on SciFi) and Im really getting into this one. (It helps that its on ABC, the only TV channel we actually get) Favourite character: Charlie, of course. Dom Monaghan is the reason I started watching in the first place. You cannot beat the hobbits. They rule supreme.

Australians. Lets face it, theyre just inherently cooler than every other nationality. Geoffrey Rush, Hugh Jackman, the Dwenham (AKA Daisy), Richard Roxburgh, and my good friend and fellow Palinite Steph.

Brits. Also Scots. Scot on the rocks.

The entire Douglas Adams canon. There are, fittingly, five books in the Hitch Hikers Trilogy. Ford Prefect is my most favourite-beyond-favourite character of all time. I first started reading these books when I was twelve, and have read them through several times since then. Ive been waiting anxiously since the beginning for the movie to finally come out, and now we have an Official Release Date which I cannot remember but will find out. Soon. Its this spring, I know that.

Okay, so when I was eleven or twelve I watched reruns of the tv show "Eerie, Indiana" and developed the biggest crush of my life (apart from Rik Mayall, the Dwenham, the Beatles.... I won't go on. I could, but I won't.) His name was Dash X (Jason Marsden in reality) and I loved him so much I took his name. Seriously. My friends in Tennessee still call me Dash. Anyway, I finally got the DVDs of the show (I've never seen most of the episodes) and guess how many episodes I've watched? Six. The six with Dash in them. I'll get around to watching the rest. Someday.

I'm also very fond of randomness, so if any of you have random funny websites, feel free to submit them to me and I'll see how worthy they are. That's right! I'm gonna judge ya!
Go here: see IT!

Aaaaand remember... there are no stupid questions, only inquisitive idiots!

Evil is stirring in Mordor. Sauron is making a cake.
